December is going to heat up as Big-Bash League all set to kick-off when Sydney Sixers take on Brisbane Heat

Finally, the wait is over and Big Bash League is all set to debut when Sydney Sixers take on Brisbane Heat.

Sydney Sixers

Captain: Brad Haddin

Key Local Players: Brad Haddin, Brett Lee, Steven Smith, Moises Henriques, Shane Watson

Overseas Imports: Dwayne Bravo (West Indies), Michael Lumb (England)

Strength: They have a good bowling attack comprising of Lee, Hazelwood, Henriques, left-armer Starc and spinners of likes of veteran McGill, Smith and Steve O'Keefe. They have services of explosive Watson and Haddin. Having played together for Blues, this team has players with big heart and can show real contest.

Weakness: They lack quality bats and the absence of Watson for most pat is not gonna do them any favour either.

X-Factor: Dwayne Bravo or Brett Lee

Brisbane Heat

Captain: James Hopes

Key Local Players: Nathan Hauritz, Ryan Harris, Matthew Hayden, Daniel Christian

Overseas Imports: Daniel Vettori, Brendon McCullum (NewZealand)

Strength: They have one of the best bowlers in Ryan Harris along with Christian, Vettori is as good in T20 as one can get while Hauritz doesn't have variety but a courageous heart to flight the ball even in this format. McCullum and Hayden are as fierce hitters of cricket ball as one can see.

Weakness: At 40, is he the same Matt Hayden we used to witness murdering the bowling attacks? I doubt really. Losing Symonds is big loss for both team and league. This team is sort of a confused mixture. Reminding me of Rajhistan in inaugural IPL

X-Factor: Brendon McCullum or Ryan Harris
