England announced the test squad with Panesar return

England selector has announced 16-men squad for the test series against Pakistan, major players returned to the squad after recovering from injury. Stuart Broad and Eoin Morgan who were suffering from shoulder injury along with Chris Tremlett recovered from back injury returned to the squad.


According to England Cricket Board, this series is so important for them that's why they have selected the best team that was possible for them. England selector Geoff Miller said:
"We believe we've selected a very strong squad with a number of key players looking to return from injury including the likes of Stuart Broad, Eoin Morgan and Chris Tremlett. All three have missed a significant period of cricket recently but continue to make excellent progress and will be looking forward to having a substantial impact during this series. To have three world-class players of their calibre returning to the squad is an enormous boost for the Test team."

Andrew Strauss will lead the side, also spinner Monty Panesar made a come back in the squad. He was selected due to his performance in domestic circuit, as selector said;
"Monty's selection comes off the back of a strong domestic season with Sussex and with the potentially spin-friendly conditions of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in mind."

 Ravi Bopara is also selected in the squad to prove him self as a test player, according to Geoff Miller;
"Ravi Bopara has another opportunity to show his growth as a Test player and we believe he will continue to add depth to our batting stocks for what promises to be a highly competitive series."
