The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited Australia's Dav Whatmore to Pakistan to discuss the terms of becoming their next head coach, a board official has said. Whatmore will arrive in Pakistan in the second week of January next year. Along with Whatmore, Julian Fountain, will also come. Julian is might be given the charge of the new fielding coach.
Whatmore, who led Sri Lanka to victory at the 1996 World Cup, is currently in charge of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. Whatmore have already coached Bangladesh's national cricket team.
