Gul haul made it Pakistan day

Pakistan (144/6 in 20.0 overs) beat England (136/6 in 20.0 overs) in 1st T20 by 8 runs.
For the first time, the grounds of Dubai hit the interests of audience. The Pakistani players who received a whitewash against England in ODI series felt that they are playing at their home so as they came out with 8 wickets win as the clock tick 11:30 of local timing.

England managed to score 136/6 in 20.0 overs, Umar Gul was the pick of the bowlers took 3 wickets .

Awais Zian who has been called the "young boom boom" in Pakistan made his debut in first T20 against England. Finn who looked all unplayable in ODI series, Zia deposited Finn second balls he faced over midwicket while a top-edged with a murderous pull in next over went for six in next over of Finn. The youngster impressed the audience with his 18 runs from 12 balls and will be exciting to watch him in next matches.

Swann responded with his best T20 figures 3 for 13, he removed Mohammad Hafeez (23), Afridi (7) and Umar Akmal (0). Asad Shafiq got run out with a bad call of Mohammad Hafeez. No one was expecting Pakistani batsmen to get out in a cheap style after receiving a good opening parternship. At a time when Pakistan was 73 for 5, the old salts of Pakistan delivered and take the Pakistan total on a decent position.

Misbah unbeaten 26* runs while Shoaib Malik 39 runs helped Pakistan to put a total of 144/6 in 20.0 overs. Shoaib Malik was the 6th and last wicket of England, who was caught by Bairstow on last balls of the innings.

It was the brilliant efforts of bowlers who turned the match into Pakistan favor, especially Umar Gul who has best bowling figure of 5/6 in Twenty20 cricket. Gul was given man of the match award for his brilliant bowling figure of 3/14 in 4.0 overs.
