England right-arm off spinner, Graeme Swann is aiming for an exciting and clean sweep summer.
Swann said, "This is going to be an incredible summer of cricket and I’m sure that the England Cricket Team can ride the wave of patriotic fervor"
He added, " I’m confident we can beat the Windies before we enter the main event of Three Tests against South Africa. I haven’t played against some of the West Indies players, So It will be more exciting to come up against new faces. Their coach Ottis Gibson is well known to most England players, However.
Gibbo was our bowling coach for a few years. He is a cracking fellow and there’s no doubt he’s helping the Windies very well"
"I think he might have looked at what Andy Flower and Andrew Strauss have done for England and worked on a similar model. He will also be passing on his knowledge of English conditions and our players."
"No doubt the Olympics will be a massive success and I’m very optimistic about England’s chances in Euro 2012, although I think Kevin Keegan should still be manager. We can grab our slice of the sporting agenda with Test victories over the both West Indies and South Africa, not to mention the five ODIs against the Australia."
England vs West Indies series starting from tomorrow May 17th, at Lord's. Swann appreciated the good performance of his team lately. English Team have been very good at home in the last few seasons, Swann encouraged that this performance needs to continue.
